In today’s episode of Overpowering Emotions, I had the wonderful opportunity to speak with Hilary Sims about the biggest (negative) outcomes of COVID: anxiety, isolation, and self-esteem.
We also talk about how to address anxiety, isolation, and self-esteem and what parents can do to help their children.
Hilary and I also talked about journaling to highlight the successes we have had every day, but also the opportunity to reflect on mistakes we have made and how we can do things a little better tomorrow. I mentioned a journaling worksheet that I often give clients, which you can also access HERE.
I also have a couple of bonus resources. I mentioned using emotion cards or emotion wheels to open up communication channels and build emotional literacy. You can access this resource HERE.
Hilary and I actually talk about a lot of issues and ideas – be sure to either LISTEN in or watch below to hear more!
